MONDAY

1. Language Arts-Write each word 3x, study each meaning and use each word in a sentence(bristle, circular, coarse, discard, extreme)
2. Science-Using the chart on pg. 83 answer the following questions:
      Which animal has the longest life span?
      What animal has the shortest life span?
      How many more years can a Bristle toe Pine tree live as compared to a Sugar
            Maple tree?                            
      3. Religion-Would you want to be a pharaoh? Why or why not?

TUESDAY

1. Reading Comprehension-Read “Maybe Later” and then complete the multiple choice questions on the worksheet.
2. Math textbook pg. 243-Copy and answer questions 1,2 and 3. Be sure to show your work where needed.
3. Social Studies-Read pages 32 and 33 in your textbook.  Answer the following questions:
1. What is an environment?
2. What are natural resources?
3. Give 2 examples of natural resources that surround us.
4. Explain the difference between renewable resources and nonrenewable resources.
5. Why is fertilizer important to farmers?

    
WEDNESDAY

1. Language Arts- Write each word 3x, study each meaning and use each word in a sentence(focus ,grasp, inspire, magnify, marine)
2. Science- Review pages 82-86.  Answer the following questions in complete sentences
1. What can an animal in the adult stage that it is unable to do in the infant stage?
2. How are marsupials different from other mammals?
3. What’s the difference between direct development and metamorphosis?
4. How is a complete metamorphosis different from an incomplete metamorphosis?

    
THURSDAY

1. Language Arts- Write each word 3x, study each meaning and use word in a sentence(quake, troublesome, remarkable, several, squeamish)
2. Social Studies-Read pages 34-36.  Answer the following questions in full detail:
1. What is an economy?
2. Make a list of 5 different jobs that serve to make our economy strong.
3. What is a quarry and how is it important in helping to create landforms?
4. What could happen if we didn’t conserve natural resources?
